Why Google Classroom

How to set up a Google Classroom to train students, employees, or ...
What is Google Classroom?:
Google Classroom is an online platform that allows teachers to post assignments and announcements for students to view. Google Classroom uses your google account to allow easy transfer of documents and work from google drive.

Available for both computers and and phones:
Google Classroom is a highly recommended choice for teachers because it gives the students many options as to how they can submit assignments. Because Google Classroom can be opened in an internet browser and downloaded as an app, it can be accessed from both a computer and a phone. This also means that a student can upload assignments from both their phone and computer.

Gives email and app notifications for every update:
Every time a teacher updates their Google Classroom with an announcement or assignment, an email is sent to each student’s email and if the student has the app on their phone, a notification will appear on their phones. The students will also get emails and notifications when the assignment is due the next day and when the assignment is due that day. The frequent notification system will alert students of upcoming assignments and remind them to do it on time.

Easy to attach files directly from drive, docs, pictures, audio files, ect. :
Because Google Classroom can be used on both computers and phones, there are many different and easy ways to upload images, documents, vidoes, or audio files. Since Google Classroom is connected with Google Drive, any information or file that is in Google Drive can be uploaded to Google Classroom. Most pictures, videos, and audio that are taken on a phone have the option to be shared to Google Drive and then those files can be uploaded to Google Classroom easily.

Everybody uses it, the more teachers that use it, the better:
One of the largest issues facing students during these troubling times is locating assignments and filtering through many emails every day, searching to see if they had missed any work. Each teacher has their own schedule and system for assigning work, posting announcements, and getting in touch with students. Each of these systems might work fine on their own, but if every teacher has their own way of doing things, then it can quickly become overwhelming for students to check for assignments on teacher websites, Google Classroom, AP classroom, emails, blackboard, and many more platforms. Just like if a student writes all of their assignments down in one agenda, if most teachers post all of their assignments in Google Classroom, then there will only be one place for students to check.

So why Google Classroom?:
Google Classroom provides an easy way to complete assignments and allows streamlined access to work for a wide variety of students. It is available on multiple platforms, sends frequent updates, and has a clean and simple system of uploading all kinds of files. Google Classroom is the best pick to help students learn in these troubling times with forced distance learning.
