For my teacher project I am creating a historical document by decorating and inscribing a document onto wood using the glow forge. This document is for Ms Twomey, my american history teacher. She can use this document in any way she wishes to, weather it is for an activity, a project, or just for display. I made a prototype of the Gettysburg address which I think looks really good. The glow forge brunch the tape over the wood that it uses its laser on making the document look all burnt and historical. I had some trouble creating though because many time the program I used to create the picture of the document didn't bring the text of the document to the glow forge and I needed to find a way to make it appear. Eventually with the help of Ms. Henry I figured it out and I started to glow forge. This prototype will be used to "pitch" to Ms. Twomey and ask her what kind of document she may want, how it will be decorated, and any other specifications that she may have regarding the project.
