Print Friendly & PDF: Easy Simplification of Websites

Many teachers print out articles from online to give to their students. However, most websites include space-wasting ads and information. Google Chrome used to have an option called "Simplify page" in their print bar, which allowed teachers to print out only the text and important elements of a website's article. However, since this function was recently removed, teachers can no longer print out concise packets for their students.

But, there's an add-on for that.

Print Friendly & PDF allows you to delete the elements you want from any website. It can be added onto Chrome as an extension, or you can visit their website and simply enter any URL. The add on even automatically removes some elements of the website, such as the "Trending" bars on the sides. Here's what using this add on looks like:

 1. The original website

2. Click on the add on

3. Pop-up window appears

4. Click to delete any unwanted elements, such as space- and ink-wasting pictures
