Google Chrome Calendar Instructions

The Google Chrome calendar is a very useful application that Google offers to its members. Anything and everything from meetings to due dates can be neatly organized in a simple fashion pertaining to days, hours, weeks or months. To all the inexperienced tech users who are not the best with computers, we are here today to instruct you on how to create your very own calendar!

You can begin by clicking on the calendar button in the top black tab of the google.com search engine.

Next, click the red "create" button on the left side of the screen to create a new calendar.

The screen above will pop up and will allow you to customize your calendar. The format can be changed by clicking on any of the time frames in the gray boxes toward the top right. Toward the left column of the screen, click the drop down menu on the right side of where it says "My Calendars" and then click "Create New Calendar."

On this page you will see all of the settings to create a new calendar. The most important settings for the average calendar user are the title and ability to share with others. Note: If this is a private calendar, do not check the "Share this calendar with others" button. When done customizing the settings, click "Create Calendar" toward the bottom.

You will be brought back to the original calendar screen and after waiting a few moments, your calendar will appear toward the left column with the title you created under the My Calendars tab. From here you can click on any day and add an event to the calendar.

Now you can title the event for this specific date. If you have more than one event for any one day simply click the box again after clicking "Create Event."

Hope this tutorial has informed you on how to stay organized!
