Kahn Academy Tutorial and Educational Use

Khan Academy is a very good educational tool for teachers and students!

Educational Use:

Khan Academy has many different subjects to choose from such as all kinds of math classes to science and engineering classes with preset lessons that will help anyone learn for free! They even have free standardized test prep for high school students looking to do great without spending a dime!

Tutorial:

Teachers can use khan academy to help their students or run their class through khan's preset class layout. For new teachers who have set up an account, there is an option to either choose a grade or a class to start setting up.

There are more options of classes to choose from if there is another class or subject a teachers wants to teach a different subject class. 

     Adding Students:

To add students to the preferred class, there are a number of ways to do this such as:

• Have the students type in the class code
• Import the class from google classroom
• Send an email invitation to the students in the class
• Create a khan academy account for the student to register for the class 

If you do create a Khan Academy account for your students, don't forget to save their usernames and passwords in order to not loose their account progress!

     Content: 

Once you have the class set up and the students registered in the class, it is time to give them work. To do this, you can find work through Khan's preset work for the subject, assign either work or learning to the students, and see their progress as they complete it!
