the surge protectors we noticed that the chromebook would not charge separately and it would not charge. This confounded us. So we decided to test the outlet on something else. Vineeth decided to bring in his phone charger and try to charge his phone using the same outlet that was used to charge the chromebooks. After he brought in the charger and tried to charge his phone we triumphantly noticed that the outlets did not deliver electricity at all. So we tried to wheel the chrome books to another outlet that would work which we tested would work with a phone, and first plugged in a separate chromebook by itself and we noticed that it started charging. After seeing this we plugged in all the other chromebooks and they all started charging perfectly. We have solved the problem. This past week me and Vineeth were called for a job at the library. Apparently the new chromebooks were not charging at all. None of them could turn on due to the charging issue. So we decided to take a look at the cart. We opened up the back panel first to see if there were any issues with the chrome books itself. We noticed that there were a pile of wires very disorganized all over the place. We sorted them out so we knew where the wires were going and then we tested each one separately to see if that was the issue. The surge protectors which were connected to all the wires would not turn on. SO we thought that surge protectors would not work. We told Mrs. Gallant that some of the outlets were not working so she would be aware. Other than that we returned to the class and resumed our work. I later added to the troubleshooting guide so that anyone who encounters the problem again will have an idea to what to test.
