The use of 3D printing has increased in the past few years, and what better way to use this technology than in a classroom setting. The ability to print three dimensional objects could be used in most subjects, whether it be models for art, graphs in math, or historical buildings, the possibilities are seemingly endless. The ability to 3D print allows students and teachers the luxury of being able to have a physical representation of what they are working on. It could be a project of ancient Egypt and there could be a newly printed model of a pyramid. students in an engineer class can use the printer and software to design things to help out the community, such as prosthetics.
