Introduction to Classroom Voting System

Historically, tests and quizzes have been the only way for teachers to measure students' progress in courses. However, these assessments are dreaded by students and do not always give accurate results. A Classroom Voting System eradicates these issues.

A Classroom Voting System provides a controller for each student, and provide students' responses to the instructor in realtime. This lets instructors assess students at any time, even during ongoing lectures. If each section of a lecture has one or more questions, students can place their answers immediately. The teacher gets realtime feedback of students' comprehension, and can elaborate further if students are having difficulties. With traditional systems, students may experience difficulty in one section which cascades into a complete lack of understanding in later sections. The realtime feedback offered by a Classroom Voting System eliminates this issue as much as possible, and should help to improve students' performance in all subjects.

There are numerous differing systems for this purpose. Please share in the comments any experiences you may have with a Classroom Voting System.
