One of the most common issues we see in STAT is projectors showing a clean filter prompt. This is something that most people in STAT have gone on a mission to complete, and this tutorial will show you what we do to complete this task.
First grab a safe surface to climb on such as a sturdy stable to get up to the top of the projector, you will be accessing the filter so make sure the chair is stable. The filter is at the back left from the lens and is in a slot that looks like this. Make sure the projector is off when taking the filter out.
Next, clean the lint off the filter by GENTLY scratching it or blowing against it. Be careful with the filter or it will end up breaking and looking like the second image. Once cleaned you are going to put the filter back into the same slot you pulled it out of.
Third, we will go into the projector menu (You will have to turn the projector on at this point), (the button you hit is shown below) once in the menu go to the Default tab.
Then select the Clear Filter Usage button (Use the arrows to navigate the menu).
You will have to confirm the selection on this pop-up window (Hit the OK button to confirm the selection).
Finally, once the filter data is reset we will close the menu and you are good to go with your projector until the next time your filter needs to be cleaned.
