Setting up VR

Introduction
The school recently bought a whole bunch of VR headsets to work with. They are relatively cheap, and use phones as the VR display. In accordance with how I taught Ms. Daly to use it, I will now write down the instructions for setting it up. (This is the exact brand that was purchased:)
Instructions
Setting it up is fairly simple.
1. You take your phone, download Google's Cardboard App, hold the phone over the QR code in order to register it.
This is what a VR Headset's QR Code looks like:
2. That's literally it. You're good to get to work now. You can download apps, use the Google demo, or just watch VR Youtube videos. Given that it is a phone you're using, and not something like an Oculus, it may be best to stick to the more basic stuff. Make sure to click the "watch in VR" button on Youtube.

Headset Features
For the headset itself, there are a few things you need to worry about. I will talk about the headset we used specifically, but most headsets have the same basic concepts.
To slip the phone in, you want to pull the hole in the side down. It's magnetic, so you don't need to worry about breaking anything. It's easy to pull down and push up. Just know that some phones (like mine, Galaxy S9), are too big for it as it is, but it is possible to unscrew the little phone platform.

On the sides are the focusing knobs, used to focus the headset like a camera.
At the top is a lens wheel, that pushes the lenses further apart or closer together. You use these to focus the images.

The button at the top, the metal square thingy that is pushed down. It acts like a click. So you don't have to physically take out your phone and pause the video whenever you want to pause it.

Other than that, you're good to go. That's pretty much all you need to use basic VR on these headsets.
