     Google Groups is a application that is like Gmail, Google Drive, and Google Forums mashed together. It was This allows team, organizations, or classes to share documents, communicate, send emails/invitations to events to a group with one address, and forums can be created right from groups.

discussions, groups, and create new groups.

     In what ways could this application directly connect with education? This would benefit students that are doing group projects because projects before a project required all the members meeting up some where.But why not use Google Drive? You could do projects on Google Drive but that comes with restrictions. Google Groups now has every thing that is needed to do a school project. But this can also help teachers, they can stay in touch with colleagues too let them know about the curriculum changes or any other updates or meetings.

     In conclusion, the application Google Groups is mainly for businesses but it has very valid uses in the education system and it is as easy to use as other Google applications. This will help kids and teachers organize group tasks/projects in and out of school.
