Quizlet is an online study tool run by a community. The website allows the users to make or use different "sets" that are similar to flash cards. What sets Quizlet apart is the usage of these sets in games and activities that makes studying terms easier.

When you first arrive at Quizlet.com, you are greeted by a map of the different people using Quizlet and the sets they are studying. At the top of the page, there is a search function to find a set for the user to study, as well as the option to create a set if you do not find what you are looking for.

Many sets have already been created, many following books or vocab sections that are commonly used in schools. For example: a quick search for Bien Viaje, a Spanish book used in the school system, results in many sets for almost all of the sections of the book.

The creation of sets is quick and simple, and allows for a moderate amount of customization. Quizlet is less suited to subjects like math, and more suited to languages and memorization.
